Discord Ask

Members ask in Discord; answers come from your synced Notion posts — the same Ask Core as Telegram. Members do not need a NotionFlare account.

Requirements

• NotionFlare account with Ask quota (Free = Public corpus only; Pro / Business = choose scope per server)
• Permission to manage the Discord server you want to link

Setup

1. Open Dashboard → Ask → Discord.
2. Click Link a server (or Link another server if you already have one).
3. Choose Public / Private / Both for that server’s Ask corpus, add the official NotionFlare bot to the Discord server, then copy the /bind command from the same flow.
4. In your Discord server (Manage Server permission), run the /bind command.
5. Under Linked servers, you can change corpus later: Public (inquiries), Private (members, Pro+), or Private + Public.

Inviting the bot alone does not link your Knowledge Base — finish /bind or the server will stay empty under Linked servers. Use slash commands in a server channel (not DMs).

One NotionFlare account per Discord server (V1).

/ask

• Uses the corpus scope configured for that server (Private vs public).
• Shares the same daily/monthly ask quota as Telegram / Slack.
• Answers include Sources when the model cites them.
• Replies include 👍 / 👎 buttons for helpful-rate insights (primary signal — see Ask feedback channels). Members can also add emoji reactions for mood when available.
• Free-text DMs with the bot are not supported — use /ask.

Privacy

Only the corpus scope you choose for that server is searchable. Private/draft posts stay out of Public-only servers.

Unlink

Dashboard → Ask → Discord → remove the linked server, or revoke the binding.
