Telegram Ask

Answer questions from your Knowledge Base inside Telegram groups. Members do not need a NotionFlare account.

Same product model as Discord: one NotionFlare bot, bind your group to your account. Answers use your indexed Notion posts — not the official demos (Telegram group and Discord server; see Platform discovery).

Prerequisites

• NotionFlare account with Ask quota (Free = Public corpus only; Pro / Business = choose Public, Private, or both).
• Posts synced and indexed (see Notion setup).

Enable and link a group

1. Open Dashboard → Ask → Telegram.
2. Click Link a group (or Link another group if you already have one).
3. Choose Public / Private / Both for that group’s Ask corpus, add the NotionFlare bot to your Telegram group (promote it to admin if you want emoji feedback), then copy the /bind command from the same flow.
4. In the group, as an admin, paste /bind CODE.
5. Under Linked groups, you can change corpus later: Public (inquiries), Private (members, Pro+), or Private + Public.

Adding the bot alone does not link your Knowledge Base — until /bind succeeds, the group will not appear under Linked groups and /ask will not use your index.

You do not create a BotFather bot or paste a token for Ask.

/ask

In a linked group: /ask your question or @mention the bot.

• Answers use only the corpus scope you set for that group (see Private vs public).
• Quotas count against the bot binder’s NotionFlare plan (see Pricing).
• Direct messages with the bot do not support Knowledge Base /ask — use a linked group.

Owners can also test from Dashboard → Ask → Try /ask.

Unlink

Dashboard → Ask → Telegram → remove the linked group, or /unlink in the group (admin).
